![]() Cindy Revell is a governor general nominated illustrator and contemporary still life oil painter living in Alberta. She received her graphic design diploma and later studied illustration and oil painting, as well as studying with international artists. Cindy’s illustration has been extensively published all over North America while her oil paintings have been exhibited in juried shows, galleries, a museum and private and public collections in Canada and the US. Her work is painted traditionally but composed in a contemporary manner. "My paintings celebrate the extraordinary beauty of ordinary subjects that quietly imbue our lives with richness and give such pleasure". Awards: Governor General’s Award, nominated; The Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator’s Award; Ontario Library Association’s Blue Spruce Award.
