![]() Carol Short: "Perhaps it was growing up near the Badlands of Alberta where the dinosaurs roamed, or merely a very inquisitive mind into the nature of things, that has inspired my love of creating images of fossils, leaves and strata preserved in time. Mother Nature is the most incredible artist there is and her geological wonders never cease to excite me. Although there is much beauty above the crust of the earth, what lies beneath is pure magic." Carol is a signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and lives in the Vancouver area. Her images have captured the attention of geological societies worldwide. They have embraced the "art and science" nature of her work by interviewing her and including many of her paintings in their publications. Her paintings have found homes worldwide in private and corporate collections.
