Lida van Bers was born and educated in The Netherlands. She has lived in Canada most of her life. Lida has been painting full time since she moved to "Vancouver Island" from Ontario. She has studied fine arts in Malaspina University as well as with major contemporary artists. Her work has received media attention in print and television. She has had numerous exhibitions and won awards. Her paintings are in collections in The Netherlands, Denmark, UK, USA, and Canada.
