 Brent R. Laycock RCA was born in Lethbridge, Alberta in 1947 and grew up on a prairie farm within view of the Rocky Mountains which still inspire much of his work. After earning a Master of Fine Arts at Brigham Young University in Utah, he returned to Alberta. After three decades of art career, his landscapes and botanical paintings have been exhibited across North America, Japan, Mexico & Europe. They have been featured in numerous articles, books, numerous awards and on two Canadian Postage Stamps.
