![]() Sharon Tenenbaum worked as a civil engineer in Vancouver BC. Then inspired by a life changing journey to South East Asia including the streets of Delhi, trekking the Himalayas and cycling through Myanmar, she made the decision to pursue her passion for photography. Her return home gave birth to her 'Vancouver Portfolio', as she combined her engineering with her artistic side to create the 'Bridges Portfolio'. “Through photography, I can show how I see the world, finding the balance of scientist’s skepticism and a poet’s heart. Creating pictures is my way of sending out my fascination for discovery, awe for spirituality and love of life to the world so that I can reach out and touch the spirit of those willing to receive.” Although an emerging artist, in a relative short period she has managed to define an artistic direction and distinctive style in her work, acquiring international awards and recognition in the process.
