 Steve Silverman Born in Toronto, Steve is a fine art photographer with a keen and unique vision. After his visual arts studies in Seneca College, he entered a career in advertising in 1975. This experience helped hone his creative skills and inspired him to pursue his passion for fine art photography. His love and appreciation for black and white photography is reflected in his dramatic landscapes and compelling architectural cityscapes. His use of dramatic contrast and perspective sets him apart from other contemporary fine art photographers. He uses strong leading lines combined with the interplay of light and shadow to express and interpret meaning to his photos, giving a two dimensional medium the illusion of three dimensions. He has been exhibiting in galleries in Canada and his work can be found in corporate and private collections. |
